Dr. Rebeca E. Amaya is an acupuncture physician devoted in helping her patients live a life of quality and health by treating the whole body, mind, and soul. She received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master of Science in Chinese Medicine, and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She desires to be a part of her patients’ journey in acquiring optimal health through individualistic treatments tailored to their unique selves. She is passionate about helping everyone have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential by educating and empowering patients to take control of their health. She believes everyone deserves to live a life of quality through education and awareness while experiencing the effectiveness and benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine and all its modalities.
Dr. Amaya witnessed her mother endure the immense challenges of stage IV Breast Cancer, and more critically, the lack of empathy toward long-term cancer survivors within the fragmented American healthcare system, which had a profound impact on her path. This experience fueled her determination to become a holistic practitioner, dedicated to addressing not only physical ailments but also the emotional and psychological needs of patients. It strengthened her belief in the importance of compassionate, integrative care that considers the whole person, a principle that continues to guide her practice today.
